About
Our Story
Founded in 2014, the BMES student chapter at UT Dallas has grown to 200+ registered members, representing a significant portion of the small but growing biomedical engineering student body on campus. Among the first large events, the inaugural BME Career/Internship Expo in 2016 drew nearly 200 visitors and connected 15 companies and research labs with student applicants.
Our Objective
We aim to promote the profession of biomedical engineering through the organized effort of this group to study, research, and discuss the many fields of biomedical engineering.
Our Future
We look forward to expanding our role in the DFW biotech industry. Capitalizing on its location in the heart of one of the largest concentrations of technology companies in the United States.
